B RAD ICE CREAM

Just a little bit of background...every student in the arts at Marietta College is required to complete a year long project called "Capstone." It is to be a project that highlights everything you have learned over your last four years. Of course when I was doing initial brainstorming, I knew I wanted to create something I was passionate about, many things came to mind but the one that continued to come back was my brother. My brother, Brad was critically injured in a car accident in December of 2009, leaving him with a Traumatic Brain Injury. Having a TBI has hindered his ability to find employment, simply because of the nature of the injury and business' being uneducated on how to work with those who have a Traumatic Brain Injury. So, I started to research and soon B Rad Ice Cream was born.
